Deacon Josiah Torrey1

M, b. 1650, d. 30 October 1732
     Josiah was born in 1650 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2 He was the son of William Torrey and Elizabeth Fry. Josiah married Sarah Wilson on 5 May 1680 in Medfield Township, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.3 Josiah and Sarah had children: Josiah [2/09/1681-10/08/1723][m. Sarah Athern], Margaret [4/16/1683][m. 1/23/1706 Ephraim Chapman]], Elizabeth 5/03/1685], Mary [4/17/1689-1/__/1768][m. 1709 Nathaniel Southworth] & John [4/06/1892-112/__/1740][m. Zerviah Athearn & 2nd. Sarah].4 Josiah departed this life on Thursday, 30 October 1732 in Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut, at age 82 years.
