Joanna Strickland

     Joanna was born in County Westmoreland, England. She was the daughter of John Strickland and Jane (?) Joanna married Jonas Wood "Halifax", son of Henry Wood and Prudence Atkinson, circa 1648 in Southampton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Joanna's husband, Jonas, died before 29 July 1662 in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, leaving her a widow.
