Richard Stillwell

     Richard was born in 1671. Richard married Mercy Sands, daughter of Samuel Sands and Mary Ray, before 11 December 1713. She was noted as being married in her father's will of this date. Richard & Mercy had children: Richard [1710-1773][m. Mary Bowne, 2nd Lydia Leonard], Mary [1714-1802][m. Captain Thomas Clark], Anne [1714][m. Theodosius Bartow, 2nd Philip Disme], Catherine [m. Reverend Ebenezer Pemberton], Deborah [m. Richard Smith], Elizabeth [m. Peter Wraxall, 2nd General John Maunsell], Samuel [m. Sarah Clayton] & William [m. John Watkins].¹ Richard departed this life in 1743 at age 72 years.
