     Louis Michel was born on Thursday, 19 March 1671 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Jean Terrien dit Duhaime and Judith Riguad. He was christened there on 5 April 1671 in the Cathedral de l'Assomption.1
