Marie-Anne Sylvestre dit Champagne

     Marie-Anne was born on Monday, 11 August 1692 in Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Nicolas Sylvestre and Barbe Neveu. She was christened there on 13 August 1692 in St-Francois-de-Sales Church.¹ Marie-Anne married Andre Content on 18 October 1712 in Neuville at St-Francois-de-Sales Church, Pointe-Aux-Tremples.² Marie-Anne & Andre had children: Marie-Clemence [9/29/1713-10/14/1713], Marie Therese [8/19/1714-8/20/1714], Jean-Baptiste [7/20/1715-4/27/1716], Marie-Joseph [12/13/1716-1/06/1807][m. 8/14/1735 Noel Gagnon], Marie-Anne [6/29/1718-7/11/1759] [m. 6/30/1736 Michel Mousset], Jean Baptiste [1719-9/15/1759][m. 1/08/1752 Therese Destours dit Deschaillons], Marie Claire [12/07/1721-2/16/1786][m. 6/15/1748 Thomas Laniel], Antoine-Andre [1/02/1724-3/21/1738], Pierre-Paul [8/04/1726-4/04/1750], Angelique [10/07/1727-5/05/1803][m. 4/07/1750 Pierre DeForest dit Richelieu], Marie-Genevieve [6/07/1729-10/09/1798] [m. 11/22/1751 Luc Imbleau], Therese [6/09/1731-5/22/1803] & a child [still born 3/20/1732]. Marie-Anne departed this life on Thursday, 20 March 1732 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, at age 39 years, 7 months and 9 days. On the same day, she was buried there in the churchyard of la Visitation.³
