Rachel Stimson

     Rachel was born on Wednesday, 24 September 1681 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.¹ She was the daughter of John Stimson and Rachel Beard. Rachel married Charles Greenbury circa 1700 in Westminster Parish at St Margret's Church.¹ Charles and Rachel had children: Nicolas [1/05/1701-2/20/1701], Nicolas [12/16/1702-2/28/1703], Anna [m. Mr. Hammond] & Ruth [11/03/1709-11/28/1709]. Rachel's husband, Charles, died on 8 December 1713 leaving her a widow. Rachel married 2nd Charles Hammond on 24 October 1715 in Westminster Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, at St Margret's Church.¹ Charles and Rachel had a daughter, Anne [8/08/1716-][m. 12/16/1731 Thomas Homewood & 2nd William Govane]. Rachel departed this life on Saturday, 25 February 1769 in St. Anne's Parish at age 87 years, 5 months and 1 day.
