Richard married Jane Mott in 1694 in Westbury, Hempstead Town. Richard & Jane had children: Adam, Daniel, Jane Titus, Sarah, Phebe, Elizabeth, Mary, Richard [1/31/1695] [m. Sarah Frost], Thomas & Giles. 31 August 1698, Richard and Jane and his wife, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Richard Seaman, Jane, Richard, Thomas, Abigail Carman [probably Richard's sister, Hannah's daughter]. Richard made his will on 5 April 1749 at the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He mentions his wife Jane & his children: Adam, Daniel, Jane Titus, Sarah Dusenbury, Hanah Doughty, Phebe Seaman, Elizabeth Townsend, Mary Seaman, Richard, Thomas, Giles. [New York Wills: Liber 17, page 110] Richard departed this life on Friday, 5 September 1749 in Westbury, Hempstead Town. His will was probated in 1750.
