Jared Spencer

     Jared was born circa 1650 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. He was the son of Sergeant Thomas Spencer and Sarah Bearding. Jared married Hannah Pratt on 22 December 1680 in Hartford. Jared & Hannah had children: Hannah [10/12/1681][m. 1/25/1704 Thomas Hill & 2nd 11/15/1710 Edward Foster], Jared [1/15/1683-6/13/1754], Nathaniel [2/02/1685-d.y.], Jon [10/25/1686-d.y.], Sarah [2/12/1688][m. 5/21/1713 Joseph Bigelow], Elizabeth [2/12/1688-1/21/1729][m. before 1717 John Pease], Nathaniel [12/21/1690-d.y.] & Mary [9/08/1692][m. 1/13/1727 Joseph Pease]. Jared's wife, Hannah, died on 22 October 1692 in Hartford leaving him a widower. Jared made his will on 15 March 1712 at Hartford. Jared departed this life in Hartford. His will was probated on 7 April 1712.
