David Sammis II

M, b. 1709, d. 8 August 1752
     David was born in 1709 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of David Sammis [Samwayas] and Sarah (?) David married Mary Rudyard on 7 January 1735 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, at the First Church of Huntington.1 David & Mary had children: Margaret [bap. 12/05/1736][m. 7/05/1759 Justus Plum] & Mary [ca 1738].2 David departed this life on Tuesday, 8 August 1752 in Huntington at age 43 years.3 Letters of Administration of his estate were granted on 20 August 1752 to Joseph Whitman. He is to present to the court an inventory of the estate by 20 February 1753..
