Simon Searing

     Simon was born circa 1688 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of John Searing I and Susanah Pine. Simon married Alse Ball after 31 August 1698 in Newark, Sussex County, New Jersey. Simon removed from Hempstead before 1729 when he is listed as an Associate of Elizabeth Town. Simon made his will on 30 June 1735 at Elizabeth Town, Union County, New Jersey. He mentions his wife, Alse, his sons: Simeon & Joseph, his daughters: Sarah, Phoebe & Amy. [New Jersey Archives Ser.
