Euphemia Radley

F, b. 1704, d. 1755
     Euphemia was born in 1704 in Elizabeth Town, Essex County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of John & Hannah Radley of Elizabethtown. Euphemia married John Badgley, son of Anthony Badgley and Elizabeth Thorne, in 1719 in Elizabeth Town. John & Euphemia had children: Anthony [1720], William [1722], Sarah [1724], Mary [1726], Phoebe [1728], Jane [1730], Elizabeth Jane [1730], John [1732], Catherine [1734], Hannah [1736], Euphemia [1738] & Moses [1740]. John came to New Jersey with two of his brothers and his three sisters, settling next to James. He attended the Presbyterian Church of Turkey [New Providence]. He was probably a lieutenant in Captain Nathaniel Davis's Militia at Turkey in 1747. Euphemia departed this life in 1755 in Elizabeth Town at age 51 years.
