Andrew Ring

     Andrew was born in 1618 in Ufford, County Suffolk, England. He was the son of William Ring and Mary Durrante. Andrew married, daughter of Stephen Hopkins and Elizabeth Fisher, on 23 April 1646 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Andrew and Deborah had children: William [m. Hannah Sherman], Eleazer [1663-11/21/1729] [m. 1/11/1687/88 Mary Shaw], Mary [m. John Morton], Debporah, Susanna, Elizabeth [1652] [m. William Mayo & 2nd. John Mayo] & Samuel.¹ Andrew's wife, Deborah, died in 1666 in Plymouth leaving him a widower. Andrew married 2nd Lettice. Andrew made his will on 14 December 1691. Andrew departed this life on Sunday, 22 February 1692/93 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Plymouth First Church records state he was in his 75th year when he died. He wrote his will 14 December 1691 & the inventory was taken 18 March 1692/1693. His will was probated on 18 March 1692/93.
