     Geertje was born before 22 May 1706 in Flatbush, in the Town of Brooklyn, Kings County, Long Island, New York. On 22 May 1706, she was christened in Flatbush, in the Town of Brooklyn, Kings County, Long Island, New York. Her sponsors were Cornelius Martense Ryerson & Geertje Lott.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Reyerse and Styntje (?) Geertje married Hendrick Suydam circa 1731 in Kings County, Long Island, New York. Their homestead was near Bedford, Long Island. Geertje departed this life on Friday, 7 December 1770.
