George Priestley

     George was born on Sunday, 30 January 1820 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Brown Priestley and Ann (?) George married Jane Chester, daughter of Thomas Chester and Sarah Whallhead, on 13 August 1860 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.2 George and his wife, Jane, were listed on the 1881 English census living in Nettleham. Enumerated in this household were George Priestley [61 Welton, Lincolnshire] and his wife Jane [58 Little Torrington, Lincolnshire]. George was listed as a cattle dealer.3
