Hannah Peat

F, d. before 26 February 1702
     Hannah married James Waklee, son of Henry Waklee and Sarah Burt, on 6 December 1667 in Stratford.1 James and Hannah had children: James [12/28/1688-1762] [m. Sarah Shelden], Henry [5/15/1691] & Joseph [-1729] [m. 4/24/1723 Elizabeth Clark].2 It is assumed Hannah died before before 26 February 1702 in Stratford as her husband was remarried on this date.2

  1. [S80] Donald Lines Jacobus, History and Genealogy of The Families of Old Fairfield, Volume 1; page 629 - Hannah Peat is the only wife attributed to Jacob [brother of James]. It is obvious that she was not old enough to be the mother of the colder children [of Jacob]. She was a wife if a Wakelee in 1694 and could have been the second wife of Jacob or the first wife of James Wakelee.
