Elinor Peryam

     Elinor was born in Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of William Peryam and Miss _____ Blackalller. Elinor married William Horsey.¹ Elinor's husband, William, died circa 1567, leaving her a widow. It is mentioned in the will of her brother John [1573] that she and her son Jasper had been cared for by her brother for the past 5 or 6 years. John made bequests to Elinor, her two daughters, Marie & Elinor, and to Elinor's son Jasper. Because of Jasper's attitude, John recinded Jasper's portion in a codicile.
