Susannah Norman1

F, b. before 31 July 1617, d. 23 December 1660
     Susannah was born in Charminster, Dorsetshire, England. She was christened there on 31 July 1617 in St. Mary's Church.2 She was the daughter of Richard Norman and Florence (?) Susannah married Robert Lockwood, son of Edmund Lockwood and Ales Cowper, circa 1633 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Susannah's husband, Robert, died before 11 September 1658 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Susannah married 2nd Jeffrey Ferris in 1659 in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Jeffrey had a marriage contract with Susannah, dated May 28, 1661, in which he pledged certain legacies to the children of Robert Lockwood-deceased, and mortgages his Greenwich lands and "housings".3 Susannah departed this life on Thursday, 23 December 1660 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
