Stephen Miles

     Stephen was born on Wednesday, 5 December 1674. He was the son of Samuel Miles and Hannah Wilmot. In 1697, Stephen married first, Mary Holbrook in Derby, Connecticut.¹ Stephen married 2nd Patience Wheeler, daughter of Joseph Wheeler and Patience Holbrook, in 1703 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut. Stephen and Patience had children: Patience [9/20/1704-aft 1767] [m. Ebenezer Washburn Sr. & 2nd. Miles Merwin], Eunice [4/11/1707-11/19/1732] [m.Moses Buck] & Justus [7/27/1711-4/02/1795]. Stephen departed this life on Monday, 27 March 1713 in Derby at age 38 years, 3 months and 22 days.¹
