Jonathan Nickerson

     Jonathan was born circa 1689 in Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Lieut. Thomas Nickerson and Mary Bangs. Jonathan married Jane Covell circa 1718 in Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Johnathan and Jane had childern: Judith [4/09/1720] [m. 10/08/1741 William Gray], Jane [4/09/1722] [m. Elisha Gage], Johnathan [1/14/1724-1810] [m. 3/26/1774 Susanna Atkins], Simeon [4/10/1727] & Doty [1728] [m. 4/25/1752 Solomon Eldridge].¹ Jonathan's wife, Jane, died circa 1728 in Chatham leaving him a widower.
