George Neville , Baron Latimer

     George was born circa 1407 in County Durham, England, at Raby Castle. He was the son of Ralph Neville and Lady Joan (?) de Beaufort. George married Lady Elizabeth Beauchamp circa 1436. He became the 1st Baron of Latimer after the death of his uncle John Neville who died in 1430. John had left it to his brother, Ralph, George's father, who predeceased him. In his later years, he suffered from dementia.¹ George departed this life on Thursday, 30 December 1469 in Yorkshire, England.¹ George was buried in Beauchamp Chapel, Warwickshire, England.
