Edward Bangs

     Edward was born on Wednesday, 30 September 1665 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Jonathan Bangs and Mary Mayo. Edward married Ruth Allen circa 1690 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was one of the eight founders of the Harwich Church on 16 October 1700.3 Edward's wife, Ruth, died on 22 June 1738 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.4 Edward married 2nd Mrs. Ruth Mayo on 16 January 1738/39 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Edward made his will on 14 April 1746 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.5 Edward departed this life on Sunday, 22 May 1746 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Edward was laid to rest after 22 May 1746 in the Old Burying Ground, Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, near his wife. His will was probated on 11 June 1746.
