Richard Attewode

Richard was born circa 1297 in The Woods, Coulsdon, County Surrey, England. He was the son of Sir William Attewode and Juliana (?) Richard was a Sergant of Arms for Edward III and is noted in history as being reponsible for moving the royal fleet down the Thames to invade France in the 1346 campaign of the Hundred Years' War.1
