Joane Arnold

     Joane was born before 30 November 1577 in Ilchester, Somersetshire, England. On 30 November 1577, she was christened in Ilchester, Somersetshire, England. She was the daughter of Nicholas Arnold and Alice Gully. Joane married William Hopkins before 1613 in England. He was of Yeoviltown. Joane departed this life before 10 March 1621/22 in Yeovilton, Somersetshire, England. On 10 March 1621/22, Joane was buried at the St. Bartholamew's Churchyard, Yeoviltown, Somersetshire, England. After her death, two of her children, Franves & Thomas, went to live with heir Uncle William. They immmigrated to New England with him & his family in 1635.¹
