Richard Alsop

Richard was born circa 1660 in New York. Richard married Hannah Underhill, daughter of Captain John Underhill and Elizabeth Feake, in 1685 in New York. Richard & Hannah had children: Thomas [9/07/1687-1743][m. Susannah Blackwell], Deborah [m. John Sipkins & 2nd Nathaniel Hazard], Hannah [__-6/17/1773][m. 3/23/1706 Joseph Sackett], Richard [1695-11/21/1764][m. Elizabeth Crooke [1703-1776]], John [1697], Amy [m. Jonathan Wright], Susannah [m. 5/23/1728 Nathaiel Lawrence] & Elizabeth [m. Phineas McIntosh].1 Richard departed this life in October 1718 in Newtown, Queens County, Long Island, New York.2 He was buried there in the Alsop Burying Ground.
