     Edward Carl was born on Sunday, 15 October 1899 in Upper Sandusky, Crane Township, Wyandot County, Ohio. Edward died on Monday, 9 June 1924 in Holmes Township, Crawford County, Ohio, of pulmonary tuberculousis.

Obituary: Edward Carl Landversicht, only son of Edward and Bertha [Smith]Landversicht, died at his home northwest of Bucyrus, in Holmes Township, Monday night, June 9, 1924, at 11:30 o'clock, of pulmonary tuberculousis. He was born at Upper Sandusky, Ohio, October 15, 1899, being age 24 years, 7 months, 24 days. He was baptized in infancy and continued in the Lutheran faith at the age of fourteen years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen at Marion, and was a skilled mechanic and electrician. Prior to his last illness, he was an engineer at the Brokensword stone quarries near his home. While he had been sick for the past several months he only took his bed three weeks ago. His father died twenty-four years ago at Upper Sandusky. Those surviving to mourn their loss are his step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beery, and the following half-brothers and half-sisters, Raymond, Chester, Ruby, Lela, Thelma, and Ilean Beery. Besides a host of other relatives and friends at Upper Sandusky, Marion, Oceola, and near his home. He was a kind brother and a loyal, and a devoted son, and he will be sadly missed by his loved ones. The sympathy of the community goes out to the family in this hour of their sorrow.
The funeral will be held at the Beery home, Thursday afternoon, June 12 at 1:30 o'clock and the body laid to rest by the side of the father in Old Misssion cemetery at Upper Sandusky. The pallbearers were Edgar Dripps, Alfred and Smith Witter, Harold Dripps George Cordray.

Edward Landversickt died at the home of his step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beery, near Spore, Monday night at 11:30 o'clock. Death was due to tuberculosis. He was aged 24 years, 7 months, and 24 days at the time of death. Miss Lela Beery, who makes her home with Mr. and Mrs. John Meincer on West Crawford street, is a half-sister to the deceased. The young man was born in this city, his father being deceased many years. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Smith and daughter, Virginia, of this city left Tuesday for Bucyrus, the young man being a nephew to Mr. Smith. ATTENDING FUNERAL: The following relatives attended the funeral of Edward Landversicht, which was held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beery, north of Bucyrus. Thursday: Mr. and Mrs. Russell Landversicht, Mrs. W. L. Landversicht and daughter, Miss Martha, Fred Landversicht, Mr. Thayer Wetty, Mrs. Emma Kent and Mrs. Vincent Thiel.
