Margaret Hicks1

     Margaret was born circa 1539 in Norwich, County Norfolk, England. Margaret married Richard Bangs, son of William Bangs and Alice (?), in 1560 in Norwich, County Norfolk, England.1 Margaret's husband, an unknown person , died on 16 May 1586 in Norwich, County Norfolk, England, leaving her a widow.2 Margaret made her will in which she mentions her sons, Robert and Edmund and her daughters, Susan and Elizabeth and her son-in-laws, Robert Claphamson and Henry Pamant.3 Margaret departed this life in Norwich. She was buried there on Saturday, 15 February 1592.1 Her will was probated on 21 February 1592. In the procedings, her daughter, Susan Pamant, wife of Henry Pamant was instructed to administer the will, make payments of debts, exhibit an inventory and finally make an account to the court.
