Jean Griveau dit Boisjoli

M, b. circa 1668, d. circa 25 February 1724
     Jean was born circa 1668 in La Rochelle, Bishopric of La Rochelle, Poitou-Charentes, France. Jean married Marie Bouchard, daughter of Guillaume Bouchard and Francoise Benard, on 18 November 1686 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal at the church of St-Enfant-Jesus.1 Jean Baptiste and Marie had children: Marie [8/31/1687], Anne [11/13/1688] & Jean Baptiste [12/06/1690-8/13/1771][m. 2/10/1718 Marie Madeleine Sigouin]. Jean departed this life circa 25 February 1724 in Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried at Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, in the churchyard of St-Francois-de-Sales, Pointe-Aux-Tremples.2
