     William was born circa 1400 in Buckinghamshire, England.1 William married Cecelia Englesfield, daughter of Sir Nicholas Englesfield and Johanna Clerk, circa 1419 in Thame, Oxfordshire, England, at the Manor of Rycote.2 He and Cecelia were blessed with 8 children. Cecilia was the co-heiress with her sister Sybill of her father & inherited the Manor of Rycote.3 William departed this life on Tuesday, 6 July 1452 in England.4 He was buried at London, County Middlesex, England, in the chapel of St. Dunstan's of Westminister Abbey.5
