Griswell (?)

     Griswell was born. Griswell married Samuel Cornell, son of Thomas Cornell and Rebecca Briggs, circa 1684. On 29 May 1670, he appears in the census of the inhabitants of the town of Dartmouth, Mass. In 1682, he was constable there. In 1684, he took the oath of fidelity. In 1685, there was a law suit against Thomas Cornell, Samuel Cornell, David Wilcox and John Russell. In 1688, May 17, there was an agreement between Samuel and his cousin (nephew) Thomas,' (Thomas,' Thomas.') as to the boundary line between them, there having been "a great difference between us."
