That for Buckingham supplies the names & heirs of these five sisters: [1] Amice, who had 3 daughters, Amabel, Isabel, & Agnes, of whom Amabel died without heir, Isabel had Henry son of Ralph, then living & Agnes, whife of Warin de Brageham, was herself living; [2] Amabel, who had an heir Miles de Bello Campo surviving; [3] Sara, who had 3 daughters, Isabel, Matilda & Philippa, of who Isabel was then living, Matilda had left a daughter Sara, wife of Robert de Walton, and Philippa had left a son John de Croxton, then living; [4] Matilda, who had a son Robert, son of Geoffrey, represented by his son Thomas, son of Robert; [5] Ermigerda, who had two son John & Richard and of these John de Gatesden, the elder was dead but had left a son John.A difficulty arises over "Matilda, daughter of John de Bidun" who in the record of 1185 quoted above is said to be the widow of Humphrey Vis-de-Lu and to have a son aged 22. As John's daughter, Matilda is in the same redord call wife of Geoffrey fitz Geoffrey, and the son's age is impossible in her case, the question must be left open. [Note: There is a question as to Matilda, wife of Humphrey Vis de Lu - There are two John de Bidun, father & son. She is the daughter of the 1st John & sister of the 2nd John, who is the father of the above 5 daughters. - klm]
