     Jacob was born on Saturday, 10 November 1787 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Jacob married Susannah Haus on 29 May 1810 in Fairfield County, Ohio. Jacob purchased land in Tiffin, Ohio in 1830. A Jacob purchased property in Marion, Marion County, Ohio on 9 January 1841. Jacob & Susannah had children: Isaac [12/25/1810-4/__/1814], Elizabeth [8/19/1813-1846], Catherine [9/06/1814-5/04/1895], Hannah [10/03/1816-11/12/1891], Christian [12/06/1818-5/13/1889], Susannah [12/24/1822-9/27/1824], Jacob [11/09/1822-11/04/1851][m. 3/31/1842 Elizabeth Curtis], Andrew [9/25/1826-10/29/1851], Lewis [12/01/1828-5/17/1869][m. Catherine], Margaret [1828] & John [4/06/1830-9/26/1864].1 The 1830 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Liberty Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, the family of Jacob Bibler [0020001:120001.].2 Jacob's wife, Susannah, died on 11 December 1848 in Tymochtee Township leaving him a widower. 8 August 1850, Jacob was listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Tymochtee Township. Enumerated in this household were Jacob Bibler [60 Virginia], children: Andrew [23 Ohio], Margaret [22 Ohio] & John [20 Ohio].3 Jacob departed this life on Friday, 28 September 1855 in Tymochtee Township at age 67 years, 10 months and 18 days. He was buried there in the Bibler Cemetery.
