Ellyn was born circa 1574 in County Suffolk, England. Ellyn married Jamys Soles on 14 September 1595 in Sudbury, County Suffolk, England, at All Saints Church.¹ Ellyn's husband, Jamys, died circa 12 January 1605 in Ballingdon, County Suffolk, England, leaving her a widow. She was about 31 years old when her husband died. It is not known whether she remarried. Nothing more is found of her.
