     Henry was born on Monday, 30 April 1781 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Henry married Elizabeth Roads circa 1803. Henry & Elizabeth had children: Elizabeth, Lydia, Catharine, Fannie, Rebecca, Sarah [1810], Nancy, David, Henry [3/11/1828] & a Son [Died at 6 or 7 years]. The 1820 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Rush Creek Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, the family of Henry Beery [010001:41110].2 The 1830 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Rush Creek Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, the family of Henry Beery [1000101:1211101].3 Henry's wife, Elizabeth, died on 15 January 1858 in Rush Creek Township leaving him a widower. Henry departed this life on Wednesday, 18 January 1860 in Bremen, Rush Creek Township at age 78 years, 8 months and 19 days. He was buried at Sugar Grove, Berne Township in Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Some of his descendants were found, but they failed to give full particulars. His only son, Henry Beery, who is now living at Sugar Grove, Ohio, at the age of past 82, could not give many points.---J. H. W.
