Caleb married Mary Williams, daughter of Thomas Williams and Elizabeth Tart, in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Caleb's wife, Mary, died after 1692 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower. Caleb died not long before intestate before 22 May 1728 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. On this date, his son, Caleb was appointed administrator of his estate.1

Caleb Hopkins, "eldest son: born about 1684 who married Mercy Freeman in 1719. 2. Nathaniel Hopkins "2nd son" who married Mercy Mayo in 1707. 3. Thomas Hopkins "3rd son" who married Deborah. 4.
