Eva Jannetje was born circa 1673 in Bethlehem, Albany County, New York. Eva Jannetje married Jan Woedert, son of Jaems Woedert de Ruyter and Jannetje Theunis (?), on 18 December 1697 at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York. Frans Winne & Marretie Woodaard were the witnesses to this marriage.1,2 She and Jan were blessed with 3 children. Eva departed this life after 5 April 1702 in New York. On 29 January 1704, it was noted in the distribution of her fahter's estate that she had received five of her six shares. She probably died shortly after the birth of her last daughter, possibly as a result of childbirth.
