     Elizabeth was born before 25 February 1661 in either Devizes, Wiltshire, England, or in Warminister. On 25 February 1661, she was christened in Warminster, Wiltshire, England, at St. Denys Church.1 Elizabeth married Robert Zane.2 Elizabeth's husband, Robert, died in 1694 in Newtown, Middlesex County, New Jersey, leaving her a widow. Elizabeth married 2nd William Rakestraw in 1696. Elizabeth departed this life the 8th month of 1700 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.3
