Margaret Smith

Margaret was born in Compton, Berkshire, England. She was the daughter of Rev. Richard Smith and Marian Curtice. She was christened there on 26 October 1577 in St. Mary and St. Nicolas Church.1 Margaret married Edward Pottenger, son of Walter Pottenger and Joan Hollowaye, on 19 January 1599/0 in Compton, Berkshire, England, at St. Mary and St. Nicolas Church.2 Margaret departed this life in Compton. She was buried there in St. Mary and St. Nicolas Churchyard on Thursday, 6 July 1617.3
