Joseph Aubuchon

     Joseph was born on Wednesday, 12 February 1659 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Jacques Aubuchon & Mathurine Poisson.¹ He was christened there on 13 February 1659 in the church of Notre-Dame-du-Cap.² Joseph married Marie-Louise Dandonneau, daughter of Pierre Dandonneau dit Junesse and Francoise Jobin, on 26 April 1688 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation.³ Joseph & Marie-Louise had children: Marie-Mathurine [2/11/1690-111/26/1725][m. 2/23/1711 Pierre Joly dit Delbec], Francois [10/05/1691][m. 7/03/1724 Catherine Hus dit Millet], Marie Marguerite [12/14/1692-5/15/1694], Joseph[4/03/1694-8/25/1753][m. 8/28/1730 Marie Catherine Rivard], Jean-Bapiste [9/06/1697-5/01/1732][m. 3/06/1728 Marie-Jeanne Hus dit Cournoyer], Michel [11/23/1699-4/07/1757][m. 1/21/1728 Marie Catherine Duteau and 2nd. 2/10/1755 Marguerite Charron], Louis [9/14/1704-12/12/1704], Marie Genevieve [12/29/1705-3/08/1781][m. 11/08/1729 Louis Valois & 2nd 6/02/1744 Jodeph Chevalier] & Louis [9/06/1710-12/24/1710]. Joseph departed this life in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada.⁴ He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre on Monday, 5 October 1722.⁵
