     Nathaniel was born circa 1648 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Nathaniel married Martha Seaman, daughter of Captain John Seaman and Martha Moore, on 4 February 1674/75 in Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Nathaniel & Martha resided at Hempstead. He was a blacksmith. 31 August 1698, Nathaniel and Martha and his wife, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Nathaniel Persall, Martha, Thomas, Martha, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Phebe, Samuel. He made his will the 20th day of the eighth month 1703. It mentions his wife, Martha and his children: Thomas, Samuel, Martha, Susannah, Elizabeth, Hannah & Mary. [New York Wills: Liber 7, page 151]. Nathaniel departed this life the 24th day of the 8th month 1703 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. His will was probated on 12 March 1704. It was confirmed 21 March 1704 [record states 1703].
