Hannah Mayo

F, b. circa 1621, d. August 1691
     Hannah was born circa 1621 in Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. She was the daughter of Reverand John Mayo and Tamisen Brike. Hannah married Nathaniel Bacon on 4 December 1642 in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 Nathaniel & Hannah had children: Hannah [9/04/1643][m. 2/16/1675 George Sheves], Nathaniel [2/05/1645-12/31/1691][m. 3/27/1673 Sarah Hinckley], Mary [8/12/1648-10/04/1671], Samuel [2/25/1650], Elizabeth [1/28/1653-1676], Jeremiah [5/08/1657-1706][m. 12/10/1686 Elizabeth Howes], Mercy [2/28/1659-12/10/1737][m. 7/08/1683 John Otis] & John [6/01/1661-8/20/1731][m. 6/17/1686 Mary Hawes]. The family resided in Barnstable; Nathaniel built "a strongly built home" that the family lived in.2 Hannah's husband, Nathaniel, died before 29 October 1673 in Barnstable, leaving her a widow.3 Hannah departed this life in August 1691 in Barnstable.4
