Henry was born. He was the son of Mr. (?) Martyn. Henry married Lucy (?) in 1595. Henry and Lucy had children: Richard, Christian & Heale. Henry made his will on 13 November 1619 at Rattery, Devonshire, England.
I Henry Martyn, clerk, vicar of Rattery. To my children Richard and Christian, chattel of Yeoland. To my son Heale, all my books, tableboard, and the advowsmanship of the vicarage of Rattery. To my brothers, Thomas, Peter & John a gold ring. To wife,Luce and son, Richard, a lease of sancuary gounds called the Ball. To my daughter, Christian, 20 nobles yearly. To Ames Marche, who lives with me one ewe. Residue to my wife, Luce and son, Richard, executors. Witnesses: Robert Savory and William Heale.
His will was probated on 25 April 1620.
