Christooher Mitchell

     Christooher was born circa 1558 in Thorton-in-Bradfordale, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of John Mitchell and Isabel (?) Christooher married Ellen (?). During the Michaelmas Term of 1585, Christopher & his brother, John, obtained one messuage and lands in Thorton-in-Bradfordale. Some time later, Christopher received John's share of this. During the Easter Term of 1614, Isaac Haley, Jonas Mitchell & Samuel Robertshal obtained from Christopher & his wife, Ellen, a messuage with land in Thorton-in-Bradfordale. This included a warranty against John Mitchell, brother of Christopher & against the heirs of John Mitchell, the deceased father of Christopher & against the heirs of Thomas Mitchell, deceased brother of Christopher.
