John Maltby

M, b. before 12 April 1668, d. 1727
     John was born in Springthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. On 12 April 1668, he was christened in Broughton, Lincolnshire, England. He was the son of William Maltby and Rachel Williamson. John married Hannah Lord on 13 August 1696 in New Haven County, Connecticut. John & Hannah had children: John [9/10/1698], Nathaniel [12/29/1700], William [7/06/1703], Hannah [9/18/1704], Mary [7/18/1708], Jane [5/--/1710] & Dorothy [4/20/1715].1 John resided at Saybrook. Connecticut. He was a cooper. John departed this life in 1727 in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut.
