     Elizabeth was born before 1 January 1601 in Northamptonshire, England, at Farthinghoe Parish. On 1 January 1601, she was christened in Plumpton, County Sussex, England, at St. Michael & All Angel's Church. She was the daughter of John Mayo and Katherine (?) She was unmarried at the time of her father's death.
