John Ludlam

     John was born circa 1642 in Matlock, Derbyshire, England. He was the son of William Ludlam II and Clemence Fordham. John departed this life on Friday, 8 April 1650 in Matlock, Derbyshire, England. John married Ruth Carpenter before 1690.1 John and Ruth had children: Henry [1690] [m. Judith Smith 2nd. Phebe Smith [sister of Judith] & 3rd. 5/26/1723 Damaria Smith], Ruth [1693] [m. John Smith], Hannah [1695] [m. Joshua Carpenter].1
