     Pierre was born on Sunday, 7 May 1713 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Yves Martin dit Pelland and Marie Piette dit Trempe. He was christened there on 11 May 1713 in St-Pierre Church.1,2 Pierre departed this life on Thursday, 24 January 1715 in Berthierville at age 1 year, 8 months and 17 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre on Friday, 25 January 1715.3,4
