Summit Lord

     Summit was born in September 1764 in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Christopher and Patience Lord.1 Summit married Jonathan Baldwin, son of Abiel Baldwin and Mehitable Johnson, circa 1782 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2 Jonathan & Submit had children: Dense [1785][m. John Dibble]. Elihu W. [12/23/1789], Sylvester [1792][m. Julia Ann Lord], Patty [1794][tn. Obed Dibbl & Jonathan [1799]m. Miss Green.3,4 Summit departed this life on Thursday, 15 November 1855 in Atwater, Portage County, Ohio, at age 91 years and 2 months. She was buried there in Atwater Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Summit L. Baldwin Died Nov. 15 1855 Aged 91 years.5
