Elizabeth was born on Saturday, 3 August 1535 in London, County Middlesex, England, at Milk Street. She was the 20th child.2 She was the daughter of Sir William Lock and Lady Katherine Cook. Elizabeth married Richard Hill in 1550. She and Richard were blessed with 13 children of whom only some are known. Elizabeth had 4 children by the time she was twenty years of age.. During the reign of Queen Mary in 1555, Richard & Elizabeth went to the lowlands in Antwerypin the Dutchy of Brabant to avoid persecution. Since their daughter, Katherine, was only an infant at the time, they left her with someone in London. In 1558, when Elizabeth became Queen, they returned to London. Elizabeth's husband, Richard, died in September 1568 in Newington Green, Islngton, London, County Middlesex, England, leaving her a widow. Elizabeth married 2nd Nicholas Bullingham in December 1569 in London, County Middlesex, England.3
