Joseph Letartre

M, b. circa 24 September 1696, d. circa 27 December 1792
     Joseph was born in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 24 September 1696 in the church of L'Ange-Gardien.1,2 He was the son of Charles Letartre and Marie Maheu. Joseph married Marie-Catherine Vachon on 9 May 1718 in L'Ange-Gardien at the church of L'Ange-Gardien.3 Joseph & Marie-Catherine had children: Marie [5/24/1719], Marguerite [2/24/17215/09/1806][m. 4/11/1736 Nicolas Dumesnil dit Lamusique] & Marie Genevieve [10/24/1722-11/08/1798][m. 11/05/1742 Charles Bois & 2nd. 2/04/1754 Augustin Bornais]. Joseph departed this life in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the cemetery of St-Augustin on Thursday, 27 December 1792.4
