Martha Leggett1

F, b. 10 October 1746, d. 16 June 1834
     Martha was born on Monday, 10 October 1746 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York. She was the daughter of Thomas Leggett and Mary Embree. Martha married James Pearce in 1767 in Westchester County, New York. Martha's husband, James, died on 15 March 1831 in Westchester County, New York, leaving her a widow. Martha departed this life on Monday, 16 June 1834 in Westchester County, New York. She is buried in Chapaqua Friends Burying-ground.
