     Sarah married Benjamin Whitney, son of Daniel Whitney and Thankful Burt, in Orange County, New York. The family first resided at Warwick, Orange County, New York. After 1783, Benjamin & his family resided at Shelby, Orleans County, New York. Sarah's husband, Benjamin, died circa 1826 in Shelby, Orleans County, New York, leaving her a widow. Sarah departed this life in 1831 in Shelby, Orleans County, New York.
